Geeks in the Garden

Further proof that much of what I do in life is geeky, below is a flower pr0n shot of one of our favorite iris in the garden – this particular one the Starship Enterprise iris, from Schreiner’s iris gardens.

    Cool name for a gorgeous flower. Then again, I’m rather partial to irises.

    That is amazing!! My aunt used to raise and breed them!!! She created several new varities of them.

    Nice photo, Zack. It was nice to see the flowers up close and personal last night – gorgeous space – and while I’m no green thumb, I get the impression it’s fairly manageable, too.
