Our Town
Last time we took the boat out, Zach was trying out his brand new camera and he took a couple of decent pictures of our marina and town from the water.

Poulsbo from the water. It’s a ridiculously cute little Norwegian-themed, tourist-friendly harbor town.

Mt Rainier, viewed across Liberty Harbor and through the Poulsbo Yacht Club marina.
Thanks to Sadiq, Nathan and Jim, who have been doing a great job of photographing their areas for visitors to their blog.

I get a thanks for you shooting your town? Who knew?
Cute place. Get out and walk around next time. For us, that is.

I was several hundred yards offshore in the boat. Getting out and walking around would have been kind of, well, wet. And certainly tough on the camera.
But I understand the sentiment. LOL

I’ve got no problem with you snugging up the boat to a dock first.
Really.

But maybe some underwater pictures would be cool as well :-).

When I looked at the second picture I thought there was a low-lying cloud in the background. Then I realized it was a mountain! Beautiful pic, looks like you have the best of both worlds there: mountains and water.

Nathan, thanks. My husband is much better at docking than me. When I dock, you probably want a long pole, and help onshore. I’m just saying.
Vince, I’ve never tried that. I’ve been scuba diving once - loved it - and would like to certify and do it more. Underwater photography would be awesome. Definitely an expensive hobby to consider for my future.
Chris, thanks. We’re pretty fortunate - we’re nestled right between the Olympic and Cascade mountains, on the water.
