I love to conversation paratroop, and love to hear bits and pieces of stories--and just as fun, finish those stories in my head.

That one is fascinating for all the reasons state, and then some.

My hope is that the camp was an alternate to probation/juvie hall and he was basically a good kid that made a stupid mistake (hacker/cracker maybe?) because the other alternative is that he was a future serial killer able to keep everything inside in public.

OK. I just creeped myself out. I really hope it's the first.

The only overseen/heard situation that ever bothered me was when we were in Sears and watched/overheard a mother gathering up her children because their aunt(?) had been in a terrible accident and had been life-flighted to the hospital.

On the bright side, living in a small town, I later discovered that the woman survived.

Answering yes, with a smile, certainly doesn't seem to be the action of a "troubled teen!" Maybe it was a private joke. I used to refer to my sister as "the dumb broad," and she would smile because we both knew it was a joke. She would even refer to herself that way sometimes. Someone who wasn't clued in might have thought I was being heartless to my little sister, but it was a family joke.

I'm sorry, but when you put in "Escort Service", all I could think of was the one that Eliot Spitzer called. Yeah, that'd get an adolescent kid the go wherever the escort wanted him to go.
