Are We There Yet?
We are getting ready to head out on vacation for two weeks, so posts here may become a bit sporadic. I will try to post some photos and impressions from the road, though!
We are traveling to Vancouver Island for the first week, where we’ll stay in the same lodge we did on our honeymoon. Then we’ll take a road trip through the national parks of the Pacific Northwest (Glacier, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons) and finally wander through Eastern Washington wine country.
I’m really looking forward to the down time – and the sleep!

Hey –
Sounds like a great trip – do a drive-by wave to my parents and bro on your way up island, stop in Chemanais – they have the funkiest building murals and the best ice cream….
And pick me up a Crispy Crunch chocolate bar…but if you eat it before it gets back across the border, I’ll understand…they’re that good.
Enjoy your trip – Glacier rocks and if you can sneak an extra day or to do the Going to the Sun highway and sneak into Alberta and visit Waterton National Park (part of the Int’l. Peace Park and one of the 10 most beautiful spots on earth), then I assure you, you won’t regret it.
