Christmas List

It’s Christmas list time, so here’s mine:

  • Peace in the middle east and Africa
  • Global nuclear disarmament
  • An end to racial and religious intolerance and bigotry
  • An end to human rights abuses in Asia, the third world, and the middle east
  • A cure for cancer and AIDS
  • A solution for homelessness
  • Help for world hunger and poverty
  • A real solution for health insurance and child care for the working poor
  • A solution for our environmental problems – start cleaning up after ourselves like we care about the place
  • An end to domestic violence against women and children
  • Equal pay for equal work and an end to the pink collar ghetto

I just have a hard time coming up with a list that includes a book or a CD or a sweater when I have so much, and there are so many in the world that really need help this Christmas.
