Christmas List
It’s Christmas list time, so here’s mine:
- Peace in the middle east and Africa
- Global nuclear disarmament
- An end to racial and religious intolerance and bigotry
- An end to human rights abuses in Asia, the third world, and the middle east
- A cure for cancer and AIDS
- A solution for homelessness
- Help for world hunger and poverty
- A real solution for health insurance and child care for the working poor
- A solution for our environmental problems – start cleaning up after ourselves like we care about the place
- An end to domestic violence against women and children
- Equal pay for equal work and an end to the pink collar ghetto
I just have a hard time coming up with a list that includes a book or a CD or a sweater when I have so much, and there are so many in the world that really need help this Christmas.
