Blank page fright
Wow – a brand new blog and all my deep thoughts disappear like coffee in a Seattle IT house. 
Who am I? An IT project manager trying to build balance in her life by:
- downshifting and working at home more often
- starting her own jewelry design business
- engaging in her local community by volunteering and working in a co-op gallery
- taking better care of her health and family
Where am I? The beautiful, green Washington Kitsap peninsula, 20 miles due west of downtown Seattle which is reachable primarily via 75 minutes of car and ferry commuting.
What is this blog about and why am I writing? Anything I want it to be, it’s my playground! I’d like to learn how to live an interesting, creative, flexible life, and that’s a tough challenge for a type A driver chick like me!
How? I’ll figure it out as I go. My zen masters are the smug puppies for whom this blog is named. They think I’m wonderful just for being there, and I can learn a lot from that.
