Winter 2005 Update

As winter 2005 approaches, we’re completely unpacked and looking forward to spending Christmas with family in our new home. We’re having everyone here for Christmas eve – Ben’s coming home; Grandma Jackie and Grandpa Dale are coming up from Aloha; Ken, Michelle, Scottie and Alex are coming up from Beaverton; Grandma Marilyn and Mary are coming over from Rainier; and Cheri and Andy are coming over from Auburn.

After so long living in Alaska, so far from family, we are thankful to be able to spend time with family this Christmas!

Our biggest Christmas present this year was a hole on the water we can pour money into. Yes, we bought ourselves a 1994 Bayliner 22′ Express Cruiser. It’s in like-new condition, with a full canvas and 175 hp engine that our marine survey indicated was running well. We piloted it 25 miles up from Gig Harbor to its new home in the Brownsville marina and, other than the wind and high seas, enjoyed the trip. We look forward to many more in her.
